Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a fast-growing, family-owned company that operates over 60 senior living communities nationwide. Known for its supportive leadership and beautiful, resort-style environments, RLC is dedicated to serving seniors with respect, honesty, kindness, compassion, and service excellence. The company prides itself on creating a servant-hearted community where employees are valued and empowered to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents. RLC’s core values and commitment to excellence have positioned it as a leader in the senior living industry, fostering environments that promote happiness for both employees and residents while maintaining full occupancy and on-budget operations.
The PM Kitchen Helper role at RLC is an essential position focused on enhancing the dining experience of residents by preparing and maintaining a fresh and appealing salad bar for lunch and dinner. Beyond this, the role involves supporting residents in the dining room with friendly service and ensuring tables are clean and welcoming. A crucial part of this position is maintaining community safety through careful washing and sanitizing of tableware, cookware, and kitchen equipment. This role exemplifies RLC’s dedication to service excellence and provides an opportunity for individuals who want to contribute positively in a collaborative and purpose-driven environment.
As a PM Kitchen Helper, you do not need previous culinary experience, making it an accessible job for those new to the food service industry but eager to support a community driven by core values. The role requires a consistent work schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., contributing to predictable and steady hours. Beyond dietary preparation and kitchen maintenance, PM Kitchen Helpers engage directly with residents, responding politely to food comments or complaints and promptly communicating concerns to leadership. This role also involves safely using kitchen appliances and tools, maintaining clean food prep areas, and supporting the team through additional responsibilities like trash removal and dish machine operation. This well-rounded scope enriches the dining experience and supports overall community operations.
RLC offers comprehensive full-time employee benefits, including competitive compensation, access to pay anytime, and a $341 benefit stipend per pay period. Employees can allocate this stipend toward health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, and more. Additional benefits include paid time off and a 401(k) plan with employer match, demonstrating RLC’s commitment to employee well-being and financial security. This position not only provides a stable work environment but also the chance to be part of a mission that emphasizes respect and kindness, fostering a workplace culture that feels like family.
Joining RLC means joining a team focused on four essential goals: happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations. This holistic approach ensures that every team member contributes to a thriving community where quality of life and operational excellence go hand in hand. If you seek a supportive workplace where your efforts are recognized and valued, and you want to serve seniors with heart and purpose, this role offers the ideal opportunity to start your journey with RLC. The company is an equal opportunity employer committed to ADA compliance, welcoming individuals who bring a servant heart and a desire to make a difference every day.
