The role of PM Houseperson and Shuttle Driver at the Courtyard Rochester Downtown is a full-time position that requires evening and weekend availability. This position comes with a $250 signing bonus paid after 90 days of employment and offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.00. The primary responsibility is to maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hotel’s public spaces and guest rooms, working closely with the housekeeping team to ensure guests experience a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Additionally, the position includes driving duties that require a clean driver’s license to operate the hotel shuttle safely and efficiently.

As a Houseperson, the individual will perform a wide range of tasks including cleaning and maintaining public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and elevators, assisting housekeeping with guest room upkeep, delivering linens and supplies, and managing waste removal. The role also demands excellent customer service skills to respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and complaints, as well as vigilance in reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate departments. Adherence to hotel policies, safety protocols, and security standards is paramount.

Job Duties

  • Clean and maintain hotel public areas including hallways, lobbies, and elevators

  • respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
