The Room Attendant position at Hyatt is a vital role focused on maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms to ensure an inviting and comfortable stay. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently clean up to 12 guest rooms per shift while demonstrating genuine care and attention to guest needs. The ideal candidate possesses prior cleaning experience and strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests. Working in a fast-paced environment, the Room Attendant must be dependable, physically capable, and dedicated to upholding Hyatt's high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • ability to clean up to 12 guest rooms daily
  • ability to lift, pull, and push weight up to 50 lbs
  • ability to lift and turn heavy mattresses
  • ability to withstand bending and squatting for an 8-hour work shift
  • ability to stand and walk for 8 hours
  • dependability and accountability

Job Qualifications

  • previous cleaning experience preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests

Job Duties

  • clean assigned guest rooms thoroughly and efficiently
  • ensure all guest rooms meet Hyatt cleanliness and presentation standards
  • communicate courteously and effectively with guests as needed
  • handle and operate cleaning equipment safely
  • manage time effectively to complete room cleaning within scheduled shifts
  • report maintenance or safety issues promptly
  • assist with laundry duties when necessary
