The role of PM Fine Dining Line Cook at Piedmont Driving Club’s Main Clubhouse offers a unique opportunity to be part of an esteemed culinary team specializing in à la carte fine dining. This position involves preparing elegant, high-quality dishes that include premium steaks, seafood, and seasonal menu items. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail and efficiency, following precise recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served. The position requires a commitment to maintaining high standards in food safety, presentation, and timely service while contributing positively to team dynamics and kitchen workflow.
The line cook will work during the evening shift, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection and that the kitchen environment remains clean, safe, and organized. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Experience with à la carte food preparation and production
- Strong knife skills
- Food safety certification (ServSafe) preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Experience with à la carte food preparation and production
- Strong knife skills
- Food safety certification preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and service needs
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, labeling, and rotation of all products
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and food prep areas
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order execution
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with inventory awareness and communicate shortages to leadership
