This prestigious recognition reflects Harbour Village's unwavering commitment to excellence, quality care, and outstanding service for seniors. The company values longevity in leadership and fosters a work environment where employees genuinely enjoy their roles, making it a preferred workplace in the senior care industry.
Harbour Village is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join their team as Quality of Life Specialists. This role is essential in ensuring residents receive high-quality personal care tailored to their individual needs. The position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and rewarding environment where employees are valued and recognized. Employment types include part-time and full-time evening shifts from 3 pm to 11 pm, with every other weekend scheduled off, making it suitable for individuals seeking work-life balance. The company provides competitive compensation with bi-weekly pay, daily pay options, and benefits such as 401K, paid time off of up to two weeks during the first year for full-time employees, and health, dental, and vision insurance for qualifying team members.
As a Quality of Life Specialist, you will be directly involved in improving the daily experiences of residents by providing personal care services such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care with a high level of compassion and respect. Supporting residents during mealtime, encouraging healthy eating habits, and assisting with vital sign checks are integral to this role. The position requires effective communication with residents, their families, and the broader care team, including department heads and the Director of Resident Services, to ensure coordinated and responsive care. Additionally, the role involves facilitating planned activities to engage residents and responding swiftly to call lights and emergencies. This position is ideal for enthusiastic individuals who possess a passion for hospitality, senior engagement, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors.
