Job Requirements
- high school or equivalent education
- TABC and Food Handler's certificates
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry trays, glassware, and supplies up to 50 lbs
- well-groomed and professional appearance
- compliance with safety and alcohol service regulations
Job Qualifications
- high school or equivalent education recommended
- TABC certification
- food handler's certificate
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to handle difficult customers or complaints professionally
- effective multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities
Job Duties
- set up tables before opening
- stock and maintain service stations with the proper supplies before, during and after each shift
- promptly clear and reset used tables
- remove all dirty china and glassware from the front of the house and move it to the dish area to be cleaned
- take soiled linen to the laundry department for laundering
- follow a checklist every shift
- maintain regular attendance in compliance with Valencia Hotel Group standards
- greet all guests when they are arriving and departing the restaurant
