Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous food and beverage leadership experience
- Adhere to grooming standards
- Proficiency with point of sale systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications
- Preferred college or university degree

Job Qualifications
- Previous food and beverage leadership required at AGM or GM level
- 2-3 years preferred though not required
- Adhere to Fairmont Scottsdale Princess grooming guidelines
- Previous point of sale system experience required
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required
- University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Ability to manage labor costs
- Ability to manage beverage cost
- Maintain beverage inventory
Job Duties
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all company, property and departmental policies and procedures
- Lead and manage the F&B Outlet team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
- Manage execution of group events both business and social, including but not limited to
- Food & Beverage offerings, set up and execution operating as direct liaison with group contact
- Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
- Coordinate special requests and follow up with colleagues & management teams
- Assist in the recruitment and training of F&B colleagues
- Balance operational, administrative and colleague needs
- Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings
- Work closely with culinary team to ensure a successful service and guest experience
- Forecasting, scheduling and labor control
- Beverage cost management
- Maximize revenues by communicating regularly with the Food and Beverage teams to implement agreed upon strategies, practices and promotions
- Works without supervision to ensure operation is running efficiently
- Assist with preparation of restaurant event orders as directed
- Assist with planning and execution of legacy events
- Attend designated meetings
- Assist with silverware programming as champion
- Assist with obtaining designated Avero reports
- Assist with TAS
- Assist with ARM request as needed
- Assist with corporate compliance in menus and practices
- Assist with online menu accuracy as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Have full knowledge of all outlet menus
- Manage the departmental budget
- Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
