With a strong focus on creating memorable moments, Levy operates in a variety of settings including stadiums, arenas, and entertainment venues, combining the best of culinary art and hospitality. Their partnership with State Farm Arena, the home of the Atlanta Hawks, highlights their dedication to providing outstanding event-based food and beverage services. Levy's culture values diversity, inclusion, and opportunities for growth, making it an excellent place for individuals looking to build a career in the hospitality industry.
The Bar Back (Player's Club) role at State Farm Arena is a part-time, event-based position paying $16.00 per hour. This role requires availability to work nights and weekends, particularly during all Hawks home games, emphasizing the need for reliability and flexibility. The Bar Back plays a critical role in supporting bartenders to ensure guests at the Player's Club and throughout the arena enjoy a seamless and premium beverage experience. Responsibilities include receiving liquor, beer, and wine inventory, replenishing supplies throughout the shift, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar and lounge areas.
This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the foodservice or hospitality industry who desire to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Bar Back must possess excellent communication skills, an outgoing personality, and the ability to interact professionally with high-profile guests. Problem-solving skills and the capacity to make decisions independently are essential traits, as the role demands responsiveness and alertness throughout event operations.
Physically, the Bar Back must be capable of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling for extended periods, with the ability to lift or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. The role also includes preparing and serving beverages to assist bartenders and carrying out duties to ensure that the bar area remains tidy and well-stocked. The job offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant atmosphere, contributing directly to an exceptional guest experience at one of Atlanta's premier entertainment venues.
Joining Levy means joining a company that values fairness and equal opportunity, supporting diverse talent without regard to race, national origin, sex, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Employees benefit from programs including Instapay for early wage access, an associate shopping program, health and wellness initiatives, and employee assistance programs. Levy’s commitment to its workforce is demonstrated through these benefits, fostering a supportive work environment for part-time associates as well as full-time employees. This position offers a stepping stone into the hospitality field with the potential for professional growth within a leading company known for excellence in event catering and service.
