The position of Player Development Manager at Red Wind Casino plays a critical leadership role overseeing the Player Development and Players Club departments. This full-time leadership role focuses on strategically increasing gaming revenue while delivering the ultimate guest service experience, especially to high-value VIP guests. The Manager is responsible for cultivating and maintaining the casino's hosted player database through personalized one-on-one interactions, aiming to build loyalty and increase visitation and play from these key guests. The incumbent leads a dedicated team tasked with developing innovative player engagement strategies that incorporate creative events, promotions, themed experiences, and VIP setups.

This role demands a comprehensive understanding of casino operations, player rating systems, gaming regulations, and an ability to interpret performance analysis to guide decision-making. The Player Development Manager directs all aspects of player loyalty programs and host performance, ensuring guests feel valued and supported throughout their visits. By collaborating closely with marketing and data teams, the Manager ensures initiatives are data-driven and aligned with revenue objectives. Additionally, the position requires frequent interaction with high-limit slot and table game players to strengthen relationships and generate new high-end play revenue. The Player Development Manager is also responsible for staff supervision, including hiring, training, performance management, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and operational policies. This role requires flexibility to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to provide consistent leadership coverage within this dynamic casino environment. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years management experience in player development host programs
  • Minimum of 5 years sales-focused experience
  • Valid driver license with a clean driving abstract per NRWC Safe Driver Policy
  • Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License
  • Pass NRWC pre-employment testing
  • Ability to work all shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of gaming regulations and internal controls
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of business operations
  • Experience utilizing Casino Player Management and CRM software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to tolerate smoke-filled environments
  • Manual dexterity for computer use
  • Must be able to motivate guests and staff and work well in a team environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Responsible for overall operations and administration of the Player Development and Players Club departments
  • Ensures full and consistent use of CRM tools and strategies to support Player Development efforts
  • Develop and implement new programs to maintain and grow patronage and migrate non-hosted VIPs to hosted VIP status
  • Creates and maintains programs to encourage player activation, growth, and retention
  • Responsible for delivery and management of amenities to high-end guests per established policies
  • Develops and executes the annual Player Development event/promotional calendar
  • Generates and achieves revenue goals by developing new and existing high-end play
  • Keeps hosted guests informed of all property events and promotions through direct mail, telemarketing, email, and in-person communication
  • Ensures maximum guest service and satisfaction for high-end guests
  • Monitors Player Development program performance and presents findings and recommendations
  • Supervises Player Development and Players Club staff, including hiring, training, appraising performance, and disciplinary actions
  • Oversees full cycle event planning for VIP events including coordination, invitations, hosting, costing, and follow-up
  • Collaborates with Data team for accurate data analysis related to Player Development
  • Builds relationships by answering guest inquiries
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory and departmental procedures
  • Interacts regularly with high-limit players to build and retain loyalty
  • Monitors Host performance and compliance with casino guidelines
  • Provides coaching and development to the Player Development team
  • Reports regularly to management on Player Development activities
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
