Job Description
TTM Technologies, Inc. is a publicly traded U.S. company listed on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol TTMI. It is recognized as one of the top five global manufacturers of printed circuit boards (PCBs), serving a wide array of technology-driven markets. TTM stands as a leader in manufacturing mission systems, radio frequency (RF) components, RF microwave/microelectronic assemblies, and advanced PCBs. The company’s name—TTM—reflects its core commitment to time-to-market, meaning that it provides critical, one-stop design, engineering, and manufacturing services that help clients reduce the time needed to develop, manufacture, and launch new products in the most efficient way possible. This focus allows TTM to maintain a competitive edge in delivering high-quality technological manufacturing solutions quickly and reliably.
TTM Technologies maintains an inclusive and supportive working environment offering career development opportunities for both seasoned professionals and individuals just beginning their careers. The company’s Operator Advancement Program (OAP) exemplifies this by allowing operators and assemblers multiple chances yearly to certify skills and climb the career ladder, with a remarkable 68% promotion rate within the program’s first year. Alongside career development initiatives, TTM provides competitive compensation packages that reflect employee skills and yearly performance reviews to ensure pay remains aligned with market standards. Employees also benefit from comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans, 10 paid holidays, and three weeks of paid time off annually to encourage work-life balance and personal wellness.
The Copper Plater I position plays an essential role at TTM by handling the technical processing of printed circuit board panels through the copper plating line. Responsibilities include loading and unloading plating tanks, maintaining and replenishing plating tanks with copper and other essential chemicals, changing filters and anode bags, and performing scheduled chemical dumps and remakes in accordance with strict company procedures and safety guidelines. The role requires maintaining excellent communication with management, performing preventive maintenance on equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment at all times.
This role demands a fast-paced, detail-oriented individual with the ability to remain focused despite minor interruptions, and the physical stamina to stand during the entire shift and safely lift up to 50 pounds. Besides hands-on technical duties, the Copper Plater I must complete all operations in strict adherence to ISO standards and company quality processes, accompanied by accurate documentation and job traveler sign-offs.
TTM Technologies offers this role with a competitive salary ranging approximately from $42,038 to $66,447, reflecting various factors such as individual skill sets, experience, certifications, and organizational needs. This position is eligible for additional annual or quarterly bonuses, and shift premiums if assigned to alternative shifts. Employees are also required to comply with relevant export control policies including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC regulations due to the nature of the products manufactured, which may limit access and handling to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
Overall, the Copper Plater I role at TTM Technologies provides a unique opportunity for individuals with a technical manufacturing background to join a leading global technology company, enjoy substantial benefits, career growth opportunities, and contribute significantly to the production of advanced electronic solutions in a supportive and compliance-focused environment.
