Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Represent Medical Clinic in a courteous and professional manner
  • Greet guests and incoming calls politely, promptly, and helpfully
  • Take accurate messages including all required details
  • Process voicemails
  • Be at workstation on time and prepared to start the day
  • Read department emails frequently for important messages and updates
  • Stay past scheduled work time as needed to accommodate patients
  • Prepare and process fee tickets for patient appointments
  • Collect co-payments, deductibles, co-insurance, or other patient responsible balances
  • Correctly process payments and receipts
  • Prepare daily deposit and maintain cash bag
  • Schedule, coordinate and reschedule patient appointments as instructed
  • Screen calls and direct to appropriate staff member
  • Utilize Phreesia pad for all patients unless checked in online
  • Prepare tickets a day in advance including verifying medication lists, insurance, referrals, and patient demographics
  • Obtain accurate demographic and insurance information
  • Obtain and process insurance referrals timely
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate patient service
  • Meet or exceed patient, doctor, and staff expectations through teamwork
  • Maintain a clean work area and clinic environment
  • Adhere to all HIPAA and OSHA guidelines
  • Follow all Medical Clinic policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
