Certified as a Global Top Employer, Takeda is recognized for fostering an inclusive, collaborative workplace united by a commitment to providing Better Health and a Brighter Future to people worldwide. With a strong focus on innovation, excellence, and diversity, the company inspires and empowers its employees to contribute meaningfully to life-changing work in the healthcare industry. Takeda offers stimulating careers along with comprehensive benefits, cultivating a purpose-driven environment where employees are supported and encouraged to grow both professionally and personally.

This specific role is based at Takeda's BioLife Plasma Donation Center located in San Antonio, Texas, where the company carries out plasma collection and donation activities essential for producing life-saving plasma-derived therapies. The position is part-time and regular, reporting directly to the Plasma Center Manager. The role primarily involves performing receptionist duties, engaging with plasma donors, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the center through administrative tasks. Employees in this position play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the donation center by providing excellent customer service, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with management to improve operational efficiency.

As a Receptionist at the BioLife Plasma Donation Center, the selected candidate will greet donors, manage phone communications, assist with scheduling and recordkeeping, and help maintain a welcoming, organized environment. The role is well-suited for individuals with at least one year of experience in customer or patient-facing roles who thrive in dynamic work environments. It requires physical endurance, such as the ability to stand or walk for the entirety of a shift and perform light lifting, and an understanding of safety protocols related to working in a healthcare setting involving bloodborne pathogens.

Takeda offers a competitive starting hourly wage of $16.00 for this position with eligibility for various incentives and benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with company match, paid vacation and sick time, tuition reimbursement, and more. This opportunity is ideal for those seeking part-time work in a fast-paced, supportive setting where their contributions help improve health outcomes for patients globally. Takeda's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion ensures a welcoming workplace for all candidates regardless of background.
