Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for entire work shift
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
- Ability to lift 1 to 5 lbs and occasionally up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs
- Fine motor coordination and depth perception
- Ability to hear equipment from a distance
- Tolerance for prolonged glove wear due to bloodborne pathogens exposure
- Minimum 1 year customer or patient-facing experience
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer or patient-facing role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform administrative tasks with attention to detail
- Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate with management for process improvements
Job Duties
- Answer phones and greet all visitors promptly exhibiting customer service skills
- Assist donors with appointments
- Create or pull donor record files
- Provide customer service to donors and fellow employees
- Maintain orderly filing system and purge records
- Report to center management identifying operational opportunities for improvement
- Initiate changes to center processes using company-approved procedures
