Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to walk and or stand for the entire work shift
  • willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • ability to lift 1 to 5 lbs and occasionally up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs
  • fine motor coordination and depth perception
  • ability to hear equipment from a distance
  • ability to wear gloves for prolonged periods due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens
  • minimum one year experience in customer or patient facing role is helpful

Job Duties

  • Answer phones and greet all visitors promptly exhibiting customer service skills
  • assist donors with appointments
  • create or pull donor record files
  • provide customer service to donors and fellow employees
  • maintain orderly filing system and purge records
  • report operational opportunities for continuous improvement to center management
  • initiate changes to center processes through company approved procedures
