Headquartered in Reading, PA, USA, with regional headquarters in Europe and Asia, EnerSys delivers a comprehensive range of motive power and energy systems alongside integrated services and solutions that ensure reliable power across various industries.
The company’s product portfolio includes offerings for motive power applications such as industrial lift trucks, pallet jacks, rail equipment, mining equipment, and airline ground support equipment. Trusted brands under the EnerSys umbrella include Hawker, Ironclad, General Battery, and Fiamm, reinforcing the company’s reputation for excellence and innovation in energy solutions. EnerSys prides itself on combining over 100 years of industry experience with cutting-edge technology to create the most efficient and dependable energy products on the market.
EnerSys is currently seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join their team in product assembly roles. This position involves carrying out various assembly tasks to build high-quality energy storage products. The role is essential for maintaining production efficiency, meeting company standards, and ensuring product quality that supports EnerSys’s global fulfillment capabilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and adjustment of manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and adhering strictly to department instructions and procedures. Visual inspection of materials for defects and scrap control are key quality assurance aspects of the job. The position also requires accurate counting and recording of production numbers, maintaining cleanliness and organization through daily housekeeping tasks, and compliance with ISO, environmental, and safety guidelines. Mechanical work using hand and power tools to construct and manufacture components forms a core part of this assembly position.
Working within a production team, you will help ensure that production targets are consistently met while minimizing downtime by liaising with maintenance staff when machine issues occur. The ability to securely pack and prepare materials for transport is also critical in this role.
EnerSys provides a work environment committed to safety and equal opportunity, with a focus on utilizing personal protective equipment properly, managing risks associated with electrical shock and exposure to potentially harmful materials like lead and fiberglass products. The role requires standing for long periods, the ability to lift significant weights up to 50 pounds daily with assistance available for heavier items, including bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching. Candidates must be willing to work overtime and flexible schedules that may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
EnerSys fosters a culture of innovation, safety, and teamwork, making it an ideal place for those looking to grow their manufacturing and assembly skills within a globally recognized energy solutions company. Joining EnerSys means becoming part of a dedicated workforce committed to providing dependable energy solutions worldwide, with opportunities for career development and skill enhancement.
