This particular role is designed for individuals who are passionate about working in a bustling kitchen, specifically honing their pizza-making skills while also managing other kitchen responsibilities. As a part of our crew, you will engage in stretching and launching dough, applying sauce and cheese with consistent technique, topping pizzas to exact specifications, and baking them to the perfect color and char. The role also involves cooking appetizers such as wings, fries, and pastas, plating and garnishing dishes to ensure they look as craveable as the photos. Quality control is paramount; you will be responsible for verifying temperatures, watching ticket times, and pacing your work to align with front-of-house and kitchen coordination. Cleanliness and food safety are critical elements, requiring ongoing sanitizing, labeling, safe food handling practices, and thorough cleaning at the end of each shift.

Ideal candidates bring at least one year of experience in a busy kitchen environment, with pizza or stone-deck oven experience considered a plus, though we are willing to train motivated individuals. Knife skills, station organization, and pride in maintaining clean and repeatable work standards are essential. Being calm and sharp under pressure is a must, especially as the kitchen heats up during peak times. Job Requirements

  • Flexible availability (nights/weekends/holidays)
  • able to stand for long periods and lift up to ~40 lbs safely
  • food handler certification (or ability to obtain quickly)
  • comfortable working around heat, steam, and fast-moving tickets

Job Duties

  • Own your station: open, stock, and maintain par levels
  • keep backups tight
  • communicate 86s and low counts early
  • Pizza mastery: stretch and launch dough, sauce/cheese with consistency, top to spec, bake to perfect color/char, and finish clean
  • Line execution: cook wings, fries, pastas, and apps to spec
  • plate and garnish like it matters because it does
  • Quality control: verify temps, watch ticket times, and coordinate pacing with expo and FOH
  • Speed + accuracy: hit ticket times without sacrificing standards
  • call and answer tickets clearly
  • Clean as you go: sanitizer ppm on point, label/date FIFO, safe holds/cool-downs, and end-of-shift deep clean
  • Team play: help neighbors on the line, and keep communication crisp under pressure
  • Protect the brand: every plate should look like the photo—consistent, hot, and craveable
