Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo in a high-volume kitchen with deep knowledge of Italian pizza-making techniques
  • Ability to make authentic Neapolitan-style pizza
  • Expertise in pizza dough preparation fermentation and wood-fired cooking methods
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for crafting high-quality pizzas
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining composure under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a collaborative attitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
  • Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain it after hiring

Job Duties

  • Prepare and hand-stretch pizza dough ensuring consistency and quality with each batch
  • Execute a variety of pizza recipes including traditional Neapolitan and specialty pizzas
  • Operate and maintain wood-fired pizza ovens ensuring optimal cooking conditions and upholding food safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to coordinate pizza orders and ensure timely delivery to guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the pizza preparation area adhering to all health and safety regulations
