Job Requirements
- Represent Cooper's Hawk/Piccolo Buco values
- Comfort working weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
- Physical ability to stand long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience in fast-paced kitchen environments
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Preferred certifications such as ServSafe and local licensing
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- 6 months of supervisory experience in pizza or prep production in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- Scratch kitchen experience preferred
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Ability to stay active and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficient in English and Microsoft Office Suite
- Preferred certifications include ServSafe and relevant state or local licensing requirements
Job Duties
- Master dough preparation and pizza cooking to Piccolo Buco standards
- Set up and maintain a clean and organized station
- Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times for quality
- Follow precise recipes, portioning, and presentation guidelines
- Lead by example during prep and service
- Support inventory management and kitchen systems
- Train and certify team members in dough prep and pizza cooking
- Collaborate with management and front-of-house staff for seamless service
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen, walk-ins, and storage areas
- Step in where needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
