We are currently seeking motivated and responsible individuals for the position of Food Preparation and Service Worker. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced food environment and have a passion for preparing tasty, freshly made specialty foods with short preparation times. The role includes preparing and cooking food to order, taking customer orders, serving customers, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the workplace. You will handle various tasks including reading food order slips or taking verbal instructions, measuring ingredients accurately, cleaning cookware and workstations, and restocking items to ensure smooth service operations. A key emphasis is placed on upholding sanitation, health, and safety standards to provide customers with safe and enjoyable meals. This position requires individuals to be a minimum of 15 years of age and provide a valid work permit. If you enjoy interacting with customers and have a keen interest in food preparation, this role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food service industry.

  • clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
  • prepare specialty foods such as pizzas, breads, and sub sandwiches following specific methods
  • take food and drink orders and receive payment from customers
  • read food order slips or receive verbal instructions and prepare food according to instructions
  • wash and prepare foods designated for cooking
  • measure ingredients required for food items
  • clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases
