The role available is for a Pizza Maker, a critical position within the Piesanos kitchen team. A Pizza Maker is responsible for preparing and directing the preparation of food items, specifically pizzas, breads, and pasta, ensuring compliance with sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards. This position requires attention to detail, efficient multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to the company’s food production programs and procedures to uphold the quality and consistency Piesanos is known for. Responsibilities include preparing dough by kneading and stretching, adding toppings in accordance with specific order slips, managing cooking times in the stone-fired oven, slicing pizzas to customer specifications, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace by regularly cleaning equipment, utensils, and work areas. The Pizza Maker is also tasked with proper handling and rotation of food supplies to minimize waste, loss, and fraud, contributing to operational efficiency and cost control.
