The Pizza Cook / Pizzaiolo position at Glenmoor Country Club is a seasonal full-time or part-time role that reports directly to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef. This role is contingent upon the planned acquisition and launch of an outdoor pizza oven trailer operation, expected to expand Glenmoor's vibrant culinary offerings. The Pizza Cook is responsible for preparing handcrafted, high-quality pizzas using fresh ingredients and traditional pizza-making techniques. This includes preparing dough, sauces, and toppings from scratch, as well as baking pizzas in wood-fired, stone hearth, deck, or other high-temperature ovens to ensure exceptional flavor and presentation.

This position plays a vital role in supporting Glenmoor’s casual dining outlets, pool operations, outdoor venues, banquets, and various member events. The ideal candidate will consistently maintain efficiency, quality, and cleanliness while ensuring food safety and allergen awareness, especially around gluten-free and allergen-sensitive menu items. They will also collaborate closely with the Executive and Sous Chefs on menu development and seasonal pizza offerings. Compensation for this role ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, positioning it as a competitive seasonal opportunity with consistent scheduling that offers growth potential within the club's culinary team.

Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, this position demands strong attention to detail, multitasking, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. The Pizza Cook is expected to ensure proper food storage, inventory management, and sanitation standards are upheld while providing excellent food quality and presentation. They must also be comfortable operating specialized kitchen equipment and working in varying indoor and outdoor conditions, including high-temperature environments associated with pizza oven trailers and outdoor cooking stations. The ability to manage food allergens and cross-contact prevention is critical to this role, emphasizing Glenmoor's dedication to guest safety and satisfaction.

Overall, the Pizza Cook / Pizzaiolo role at Glenmoor Country Club offers culinary professionals an exciting and rewarding opportunity to be part of a renowned club’s culinary team, contribute to unique dining experiences, and grow their skills in a supportive and professional setting.
