Job Requirements
- No prior experience necessary
- Willing to train
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to follow health and safety regulations
- Ability to lift and carry items as needed
- Good personal hygiene and appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and work within a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks as required
- Previous experience in food preparation is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from chef
- Prepare sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments, and salads using approved production standards
- Stock and replenish deli/cold products and condiments following approved merchandising guidelines
- Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstation, stove, and refrigerator
- Store food in designated areas following HACCP standard wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units, and floors in preparation and serving areas
- Place meat, cheese or vegetables on cutting board and slice to designated thickness using slicing machine
- Interact with coworkers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures
- Maintain clean, safe work environment to comply with sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
