The Vineta Hotel invites you to join its culinary team as a Pizza Chef de Partie. This role is integral to the kitchen, focusing on delivering artisanal pizza creations that meet the hotel’s high luxury standards. As a Pizza Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for overseeing the pizza station, ensuring all pizzas are prepared with premium ingredients, precise techniques, and impeccable presentation. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and the broader culinary team to create extraordinary dining experiences for guests. Your role will combine a passion for culinary innovation with rigorous adherence to hygiene and safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional cooking experience including specialisation in pizza preparation
- Culinary school degree or equivalent experience
- Certifications in food safety
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong knowledge of pizza making techniques and ingredients
- Fluency in English
- Physical ability to handle equipment and ingredients weighing up to 50 lbs
- Legal authorization to work in the United States full-time without visa sponsorship
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional cooking experience with at least 1-2 years specializing in pizza preparation preferably in a luxury hotel fine dining or upscale pizzeria
- Culinary school degree from a reputable institution preferred or equivalent experience
- Certifications in food safety are a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including days evenings overnights weekends and holidays
- Passionate for crafting authentic high-quality pizzas that elevates the guest dining experience
- Self-motivated decisive responsible and driven to achieve goals
- Strong knowledge of pizza styles ingredients flavor profiles and modern culinary trends
- Fluent in English other languages considered an asset
- Must be able to reach bend balance and transport various objects weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly during a shift
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis at the time of application visa sponsorship is not available for the position
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook artisanal pizzas including dough sauces and toppings to meet luxury culinary standards
- Ensure precise execution of pizza recipes from dough fermentation to baking focusing on flavor presentation and consistency
- Ensure an efficient service ensuring all ingredients and equipment are ready for high volume service
- Create visually appealing pizzas with meticulous attention to ingredient placement crust texture and presentation
- Maintain and operate pizza ovens and related equipment ensuring optimal performance and temperature control
- Keep the station clean organized and compliant with health and safety standards during high volume service periods
- Oversee the daily operations of your kitchen section including inventory and equipment maintenance
