Job Qualifications

  • previous experience as a pitmaster, meat cutter, line cook, expediter, prep cook, or fry/salad chef
  • strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to use smokers and other kitchen equipment proficiently
  • excellent time management and organizational skills
  • strong teamwork and communication abilities
  • attention to detail and commitment to quality

Job Duties

  • execute pit and meat operations to ensure high-quality smoked meats
  • monitor and manage food quality and safety standards
  • use smokers proficiently according to company procedures
  • adhere to safety and sanitation practices consistently
  • manage inventory and control food waste in the pit and meat area
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
  • contribute to brand excellence by upholding food quality standards
