Job Qualifications
- previous experience as a pitmaster, meat cutter, line cook, expediter, prep cook, or fry/salad chef
- strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to use smokers and other kitchen equipment proficiently
- excellent time management and organizational skills
- strong teamwork and communication abilities
- attention to detail and commitment to quality
Job Duties
- execute pit and meat operations to ensure high-quality smoked meats
- monitor and manage food quality and safety standards
- use smokers proficiently according to company procedures
- adhere to safety and sanitation practices consistently
- manage inventory and control food waste in the pit and meat area
- maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
- contribute to brand excellence by upholding food quality standards
