Job Description

Ole is a dedicated company committed to producing the finest authentic Mexican-inspired products with an unwavering commitment to quality and freshness. The company takes pride in crafting products that bring a genuine taste of Mexico to families' dining tables, helping create wholesome, fun, and authentic eating experiences. Ole is widely recognized for its passion for maintaining the highest standards in food quality, ensuring that every product is crafted with care, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors. As a company ethos, Ole believes that being a part of family meals is the ultimate compliment to their craftsmanship and dedication to Mexican cuisine. This approach has cemented Ole's reputation as a beloved brand among consumers who value authenticity and quality in their food choices.

The company is currently seeking a reliable and responsible Route Sales Driver to join its team. This role is critical to Ole's delivery operations, ensuring that products such as tortillas and accompanying materials reach grocery stores efficiently and safely. The Route Sales Driver will be empowered to uphold the company's promise of freshness and quality through timely delivery according to route schedules. The role requires the driver to manage the transportation and logistical components of distribution, including loading, unloading, and keeping accurate records of travel time and locations.

Candidates will be responsible for maintaining the condition of the company vehicle through daily inspections and routine maintenance such as washing and cleaning, ensuring its safety and readiness for the daily routes. The company places high importance on drivers being proactive—updating routes as needed to avoid delays caused by traffic or roadwork, promptly reporting any incidents involving the vehicle, and adhering to safe driving and parking regulations. This position is not remote or hybrid and requires the driver to be physically present for deliveries.

The ideal Route Sales Driver will bring experience with handheld devices and printers to generate invoices and credit documentation, understanding direct store delivery (DSD) systems for various grocery retailers, and have practical experience in merchandising displays at grocery locations. Additionally, the role requires a strong knowledge of local roads, GPS navigation, and effective communication skills. Bilingual English-Spanish speakers are considered a plus, highlighting the importance of clear communication within diverse store environments.

This position is perfect for someone who is punctual, reliable, conscientious about vehicle upkeep, safety-oriented, and passionate about contributing to a brand that values authentic Mexican food. By joining Ole, the driver will become a vital part of a company that not only delivers products but also shares a cultural heritage and quality dining experience with families across the communities it serves.
