Job Requirements

  • Must be 25 years of age or older with an excellent driving record
  • Must pass a DOT physical
  • Effective communication skills
  • Team player that is self-motivated and takes initiative
  • Good judgment and problem solving skills
  • Outdoor enthusiast with an interest in flora, fauna, history, archaeology, and geology
  • Able to endure weather extremes in a physical-oriented job
  • Defensive driving skills and a drivers license clear of major moving violations
  • Frequent bouncing during long drives on rugged terrain
  • Able to walk on dirt trails, uneven ground, and rock formations
  • Must be able to speak and hear clearly
  • CPR/First Aid certified and able to handle medical emergencies
  • Work availability of up to 12 hours per day with up to 10 hours of tour time

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 25 with excellent driving record
  • Passed DOT physical examination

  • Clear speech and hearing for customer service
  • CPR and First Aid certification

Job Duties

  • Conduct tours in an engaging and professional manner
  • Drive skillfully on and off road
  • Understand permits and operating plans
  • Manage tour scheduling and rotation
  • Follow manifests to ensure tour accuracy
  • Provide educational commentary on local history, geology, flora and fauna
  • Assist customers safely in and out of vehicles
  • Refresh knowledge through ongoing training
  • Communicate effectively with departments to optimize tour efficiency
  • Display positive and professional attitude in all interactions
  • Maintain reliable attendance
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Take constructive feedback respectfully and apply it
  • Work up to 12 hours a day including 10 hours of tour time
  • Inspect, operate, and clean Jeeps daily
  • Maintain radio communication with reservation staff
  • Operate vehicles safely in varied conditions while delivering entertaining tours
