The Pilates Instructor position at Active Wellness Center is designed for passionate and skilled fitness professionals who specialize in Pilates reformer training. This role requires an instructor to engage with clients by delivering tailored Pilates sessions that promote overall health, muscle tone, posture improvement, and strength. As a Pilates Instructor, you will work directly with individuals or groups, providing expert coaching and motivation. You play a critical role in maintaining the studio space, ensuring equipment is clean, safe, and ready for use. Beyond teaching, you will foster relationships with members to encourage regular attendance and referrals, enhancing the club's community spirit and client base. This position offers an hourly pay rate of $35-$40, which includes a base rate plus additional piece rates for Pilates sessions delivered. The role also requires upholding the company’s policies, participating in emergency care when needed, and collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Duties
- Sell and deliver Pilates training sessions to clients
- assist members in using safe and effective exercise form during their workouts
- maintain a clean, safe and orderly Pilates reformer area
- support, teach, and encourage members to meet their fitness goals
- develop relationships and encourage member referrals
- enforce Active Wellness policies such as cell phone use
- attend department and club meetings and continuing education classes to keep certifications current
- assist in development and implementation of new fitness programs/classes
- administer emergency care to members and guests in need of assistance
- work as a team with all other departments
- other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
- be knowledgeable about and promote all club programs and activities
- perform routine maintenance of equipment
- assist with keeping the club well stocked and clean
- handle injury and illness and security incident reporting
