The role of Manager at Pierrot Gourmet is an exciting opportunity to lead a guest-focused team within a prestigious hotel setting. This position is responsible for overseeing all activities in the outlet, including staff scheduling, task delegation, service supervision, managing reservations, and ensuring outstanding guest experiences through managerial presence on the floor. The Manager serves as a key leader by training, mentoring, motivating, and supervising team members. They are expected to uphold the hotel’s high service standards by facilitating seamless operations and discreet yet friendly guest interactions that embody the luxury brand image. Familiarity with the Point of Sale (POS) and HOTsos systems is required to align with established policies and procedures, enabling efficient service management and revenue maximization. This position requires a hands-on approach to leadership, prompting the active involvement of the Manager in all operational aspects, from employee discipline to guest experience excellence. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in a three-meal period in a restaurant Five-Star hotel
  • In depth understanding of various cuisine, wines, and pairings
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as hospitality, business, marketing
  • Ability to speak English fluently, additional languages would be highly advantageous

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Responsible for all activities of outlet, including staff scheduling, delegation of job tasks, monitoring and supervision of service, monitoring reservations and table assignment when applicable, ensuring managerial floor presence
  • Train, mentor, motivate, supervise, and assist department manager to discipline all department employees
  • Initiate and maintain friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting, seating, and waiting on all guests
  • Take and control reservations and seating of the restaurant respecting service standards and maximizing revenue
  • Utilize the POS and HOTsos systems as per policies and procedure in place
  • Assist in adapting job tasks as directed by supervisor to meet changing working environment demands
  • Ensure compliance with luxury service standards at all times
