Job Description
Oak View Group (OVG) stands as the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, offering an expansive platform that encompasses venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Founded in 2015, OVG supports an impressive portfolio including seven world-class owned venues and affiliates with a distinguished roster of iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. This dynamic company continues to reshape the live entertainment landscape by delivering exceptional experiences and advancing industry standards worldwide.
As a Picnic Lead at Oak View Group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing assigned picnic events from the initial planning stages through to successful execution and completion. This position is vital in ensuring seamless event operations, managing event staff effectively, and delivering an outstanding guest experience that aligns with OVG's standards of excellence. The Picnic Lead serves as the primary point of contact during event execution, handling coordination, problem-solving, and direct communication with guests and clients to drive satisfaction and event success.
The role demands strong leadership and communication skills, as you will be expected to lead teams in designated picnic areas, assign duties, and provide guidance that fosters teamwork and efficiency. By coordinating event setups, managing food service quality and timing, and supervising service delivery and cleanup, the Picnic Lead contributes to a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees. The position also requires proactive involvement in advance preparations and the ability to swiftly address and resolve any event-related issues or guest concerns in a professional manner.
With an hourly wage range of $12.00 to $15.00, this role offers a competitive compensation package and part-time employees benefit from a 401(k) Savings Plan with matching opportunities. At Oak View Group, inclusivity and diversity are core to the company culture, enabling innovation and service excellence. Employees are supported in working flexible schedules that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the demands of the live event environment.
Working as a Picnic Lead at Oak View Group not only allows you to engage directly with the vibrant world of live entertainment and event management but also positions you within a respected, forward-thinking company dedicated to its mission of growth, community involvement, and excellence in service delivery. If you have relevant experience in event operations, possess strong interpersonal skills, and thrive in fast-paced event settings, Oak View Group invites you to contribute to its success story in this rewarding leadership opportunity.
