Job Description
Goodyear is a leading company in the commercial tire and service industry, recognized nationwide for its extensive network of over 200 Commercial Tire Centers and Truck Care Centers across the United States. These centers blend the strength of servicing the largest nationwide commercial fleets with the personalized, friendly service that regional and local fleets expect. As an established market leader in service and retreading, Goodyear is committed to delivering excellence in every aspect of its operations, firmly grounded in their mission statement: 'SERVICE EXCELLENCE - ALWAYS.' The company’s comprehensive solutions include trusted tire products, reliable services, and powerful management tools designed to help commercial and off-the-road fleet operators lower their operational costs effectively.
The Pick-Up and Delivery Driver role at Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers (CTSC) is integral to maintaining the smooth and timely distribution of products essential to fleet operations. This position entails picking up and delivering new and retreaded commercial tires, casings, wheels, and mounted wheel assemblies between Goodyear CTSC locations, customers, and dealers. Responsible for ensuring that all deliveries and pickups are executed with professionalism and adherence to safety protocols, this role supports the overall mission of delivering exceptional service that meets stringent customer satisfaction standards. The driver not only transports goods but also plays a pivotal role in building and maintaining relationships with customers to foster loyalty and satisfaction. The position requires the ability to handle both manual labor aspects, such as lifting and loading heavy tire products, and administrative responsibilities including documentation and compliance with DOT regulations. The role requires a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting the company’s operational goals. Emphasizing a strong culture of teamwork and individual initiative, the role is suited for candidates who can work independently while contributing to a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Goodyear values its employees and strives to provide a dynamic workplace where safety, service, and quality are paramount. The Pick-Up and Delivery Driver position offers the opportunity to be part of a company known for its industry leadership and innovation. Candidates joining this team can expect to engage directly with a respected brand and contribute meaningfully to its legacy of excellence. This position requires a current commercial driver’s license (CDL), adherence to company and federal safety standards, and a customer-focused mindset. Goodyear does not offer relocation for this role, and candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship. This position is ideal for those who seek a stable and rewarding career in the transportation and logistics sector within a company that champions service excellence and operational integrity.
