Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
  • minimum of 1 year truck driving experience preferred
  • ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
  • reliable transportation to the Seattle, WA service center
  • strong attention to detail and safety focus
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to handle physical demands of loading and unloading freight

Job Duties

  • Your commitment to safe driving, efficient service, and exceptional customer communication will be essential to our mutual success
  • Operate company-owned tractor-trailer or straight trucks to transport freight between designated locations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
  • Adhere to assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely delivery
  • Maintain a safe driving record and comply with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies
  • Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transport
  • Manage electronic logging devices (ELDs) to accurately record driving hours and activities
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, service center personnel, and customers
  • Provide courteous and professional interaction with customers, ensuring a positive representation of ACT
  • Proactively support operations by assisting supervisors with key tasks and initiatives
