Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- minimum of 1 year truck driving experience preferred
- ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
- reliable transportation to the Seattle, WA service center
- strong attention to detail and safety focus
- excellent communication skills
- ability to handle physical demands of loading and unloading freight
Job Duties
- Your commitment to safe driving, efficient service, and exceptional customer communication will be essential to our mutual success
- Operate company-owned tractor-trailer or straight trucks to transport freight between designated locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely delivery
- Maintain a safe driving record and comply with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transport
- Manage electronic logging devices (ELDs) to accurately record driving hours and activities
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, service center personnel, and customers
- Provide courteous and professional interaction with customers, ensuring a positive representation of ACT
- Proactively support operations by assisting supervisors with key tasks and initiatives
