Job Requirements
- Board certification in general surgery
- Eligibility for Florida medical licensure
- Academic rank of associate professor or professor
- Proven leadership in academic or large health systems
- Strong record of scholarly publications and presentations
- National recognition in surgical specialty
- Experience with minimally invasive and robotic surgery
- Commitment to faculty mentoring and development
Job Qualifications

- Recognized expertise in advanced GI or foregut surgery, bariatric surgery, or acute care surgery
- Demonstrated leadership experience in academic or large health systems

- Commitment to mentoring faculty and trainees
Job Duties
- Lead a division focused on advanced GI and foregut surgery, bariatric surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction, acute care surgery and wound care
- Oversee clinical operations and outcomes
- Drive academic and research initiatives
- Recruit, develop, and retain faculty
- Manage financial and strategic performance
- Develop and execute long-term strategic vision for division growth
- Promote innovation in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, endoscopic and bariatric interventions, AI-enabled clinical tools and data platforms
