Job Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • completion of residency training in internal medicine or family medicine
  • active California medical license or eligibility to obtain
  • current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • willingness to work night shifts primarily
  • ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • excellent clinical judgment and professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • Board eligible or board certified in internal medicine or family medicine
  • valid medical license to practice in California
  • demonstrated experience in hospitalist or inpatient care settings preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide nocturnal hospitalist care to admitted patients
  • manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers during night shifts
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • respond to emergency consultations and acute patient care needs
  • document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records
  • participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees
  • maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
