Job Requirements
- Medical degree from accredited institution
- Valid state medical license or ability to obtain licensure
- Minimum relevant clinical experience
- Eligibility for board certification or proof of certification
- Ability to work 32 part-time contact hours with flexible schedule
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Phone-call handling competency
Job Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in relevant medical specialty
- Experience in oncology or hematology preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
- Ability to work independently in a solo practice setting
- Effective communication and coordination with support staff and hospital partners
- Flexible scheduling and work organization skills
Job Duties
- Provide patient medical care primarily for solid tumor and hematology cases
- Set up and customize a new clinic service line
- Collaborate with nursing staff including RN and MA for patient support
- Manage phone-only call responsibilities with hospitalist backup
- Coordinate patient treatments with nearby infusion center
- Maintain communication with major medical center partners
- Ensure compliance with medical and regulatory standards
