Job Description

CompHealth is a leading healthcare staffing and medical recruiting agency with nationwide relationships with hospitals and medical institutions. They specialize in connecting qualified medical professionals with rewarding opportunities across the country, often having access to positions before they become publicly available. They offer personalized recruitment services to ensure the best match between providers and healthcare facilities, including assistance with contract negotiation, licensing, scheduling, and interview coordination.

This opportunity is located near the stunning Lake Tahoe in California, a renowned resort area famous for its world-class skiing, boating, hiking, mountain biking, and fishing amenities. Lake Tahoe offers a vibrant tourism scene with excellent dining options and full-scale guest support, combining scenic outdoor adventures with modern conveniences. Medical professionals working in this region can enjoy a balanced lifestyle, benefiting from both a fulfilling career and remarkable recreational activities.

The role is part-time with 32 contact hours and offers flexible scheduling, ideal for physicians seeking to maintain work-life balance. It involves establishing a new service line, allowing the healthcare provider to shape the clinic setup according to their preferences. The practice predominantly manages solid tumor cases (90%) with the remaining 10% focused on hematology. This is a solo role supported by nursing staff including a registered nurse and medical assistant, with major medical center partnership ensuring access to hospitalist support and convenient infusion services within minutes. Being a phone-only call position significantly reduces the need for onsite emergency responses, making this role convenient and manageable.

Board-certified or board-eligible physicians will be considered for this position, reflecting the organization's commitment to professional standards and quality patient care. Additionally, CompHealth provides free services for candidates, including expert support in salary and contract negotiations, interview coordination, licensing assistance, and dedicated recruiters who specialize in aligning candidates’ career goals with appropriate job opportunities. Their experienced support teams manage all the details so providers can focus on their practice and lifestyle.

This position offers a unique blend of clinical autonomy, community impact, and lifestyle advantages set within a picturesque and active environment. Interested medical professionals should contact Madison Tourville at [email protected] or by phone at (954) 616-2933 to learn more about this exclusive opportunity and begin the process of joining a prestigious healthcare network with extensive support and flexibility.
