Job Requirements
- Valid medical license to practice in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain one
- Completion of residency training in internal medicine, family medicine, or geriatrics
- J1/H1b visa support available for qualified candidates
- Ability to commit to a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule
- Willingness to uphold the values of the PACE program
- Ability to provide care with a focus on quality over quantity
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Job Qualifications
- Medical degree in internal medicine, family medicine, or geriatrics
- Board certification or eligibility in the relevant specialty
- Experience or strong interest in geriatric medicine and care for frail elderly populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
- High emotional intelligence and commitment to compassionate patient care
Job Duties
- Provide comprehensive medical care to elderly patients including site visits, home visits, and nursing home visits
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members such as nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, therapists, and dietitians
- Manage patient care plans with a focus on enabling elderly patients to remain independent in their communities
- Participate in a light, shared call schedule primarily consisting of phone consultations
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation
- Engage in regular administrative duties during dedicated admin day with no patient care
- Follow the PACE program values of compassion, collaboration, excellence, respect, and integrity in all patient interactions
