This employment opportunity is for a full-time Family Medicine (FM) physician, with Internal Medicine (IM) candidates also considered. The role is based in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) 18, emphasizing service to underserved patient populations. Physicians will work a 40-hour week, seeing approximately 18 patients per day. This employed position offers a competitive base salary up to $250,000 per year, supplemented by a $20,000 sign-on bonus. Additional benefits include full malpractice coverage, paid time off (PTO), 40 hours allocated for Continuing Medical Education (CME), 10 holidays, and sick leave. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Board certification required
- Experience working with underserved populations preferred
- Ability to work a 40-hour week
- Must be willing to relocate to Santa Barbara
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to pass background checks and credentialing processes

- Proven ability to manage a day-to-day patient load of at least 18 patients

Job Duties
- Provide comprehensive primary care to underserved patient populations
- Manage a daily patient load of approximately 18 patients

- Participate in continued medical education to stay updated with current medical practices
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to promote health education and preventive care
