Job Description

Salem, Oregon is the state capital and the second-largest metropolitan area in Oregon, offering an ideal blend of urban living and proximity to nature. Known for its scenic surroundings, Salem provides quick access to outdoor activities such as hiking, beaches just an hour away, and skiing within the same distance, making it a highly desirable location for professionals who enjoy an active lifestyle. The city is also known for its excellent schools and amenities, making it attractive for families and individuals seeking quality education. In addition to the urban environment, there are very nice smaller communities on the outskirts of Salem that offer a more country-style living while still being close to city conveniences.

This opportunity is for a primary care clinician to join a small, collegial team in an employed position that focuses on work-life balance and quality patient care. The role offers a flexible 40-hour workweek with about 36 hours dedicated to patient time, along with 4 hours of built-in administrative time weekly, allowing providers to focus on patient care without being overwhelmed by paperwork. The practice follows an integrated model where each provider is supported by a dedicated medical assistant, streamlining workflow and improving patient care quality. On-site services include labs, pharmacy, audiology, and OB-GYN, facilitating comprehensive patient management.

Providers in this role will have a patient panel of about 18 to 22 patients per day, offering a manageable caseload that supports thorough care delivery. The compensation package is competitive, including regional and primary care sign-on bonuses, making it a financially attractive opportunity. The practice welcomes both board-certified and board-eligible candidates, and a DEA license is required. This role promises support beyond clinical duties, as your CompHealth recruiter will assist with contract negotiation, salary discussions, and provide insights into facility culture and national market trends, ensuring you are well-supported throughout your hiring process.
