The organization is currently seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join their dedicated team. This full-time position offers a competitive entry salary starting at $196,012.82 annually for candidates with 0-12 months of relevant experience, with a salary range going up to $225,469.46 annually depending on experience, qualifications, and the position level. Additionally, there is an opportunity to earn up to a $10,000 annual bonus, pro-rated based on full-time equivalent status, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus is available, which is also pro-rated based on FTE. As a Family Medicine Physician with Sunrise Community Health, the successful candidate will promote and maintain health by providing medical services to a diverse patient population. The physician will provide direct patient care in an inpatient setting, addressing injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and facilitating recovery processes. Responsibilities extend to interviewing patients, performing thorough physical examinations, and updating medical histories to form accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.

The role demands the ability to administer diagnostic tests like x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies, interpret results, and explain procedures and treatment plans clearly to patients. Critical care skills such as instituting emergency measures during cardiac arrest or other critical incidents are essential. The physician will also document patient care, perform therapeutic procedures including injections and suturing, and counsel patients on wellness, growth and development, family planning, and emotional health.

Maintaining continuity of care through patient management plans, monitoring patient progress, and providing on-call coverage are integral to the position. The physician will also engage in team-based care by collaborating closely with other providers, clinical staff, and community resources to enhance patient access to appropriate care.

The responsibility includes compliance with FTCA malpractice coverage documentation, adherence to clinical guidelines including PCMH and quality improvement measures, and workplace safety protocols including infection control policies. The physician will also ensure compliance with all pertinent legal and professional requirements while maintaining up-to-date licensure, board certification, DEA registration, and continuing medical education (CME). This role supports a culture of continuous learning through attendance at educational workshops and participation in professional societies.
