This physician-focused organization is dedicated to fostering a culture of autonomy, financial transparency, and local control, empowering its members to provide exceptional care in a setting that genuinely supports their professional needs. Vituity currently serves more than 14.5 million patients annually through 890 practices nationwide, offering an expansive network that ensures its physicians can carry their practice with them should they relocate. The company places significant emphasis on a collaborative environment, where team accomplishments are celebrated, and shared goals are prioritized, creating what they refer to as a "culture of brilliance." This culture is built around a passion for healthcare, a commitment to collective success, and a shared purpose to improve the lives of patients and communities alike.

The role available is for Emergency Medicine Physicians at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. This is a unique opportunity to join a healthcare team that believes in physician autonomy, offers an ownership partnership with no outside investors or long-term debt, and fosters clinician retention through a supportive and engaging environment. Physicians in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including profit distribution, tax-advantageous partnership models, and multiple career development pathways. This position requires candidates who are board eligible or certified in Emergency Medicine, with a Massachusetts state license considered an advantage.

Springfield serves as the vibrant community backdrop for this role. Nestled in the scenic Pioneer Valley of Western New England, Springfield is rich with history and culture. Known as the birthplace of basketball and home to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, it offers a harmonious blend of recreation, arts, and dining experiences. Residents benefit from the proximity to Six Flags New England, Forest Park with its extensive trails and zoo, as well as a dynamic downtown area. The city’s central location allows easy access to major metropolitan areas including Boston, New York City, and the Berkshires, offering physicians and their families a well-rounded lifestyle enriched with seasonal beauty and cultural attractions.

Vituity’s employment model supports varied compensation based on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience, with annual base compensation ranging typically between $275,000 and $900,000. Part-time and per diem compensation are prorated, and the inclusion of profit distributions and equity ownership significantly enhances the overall earning potential. This role not only offers a competitive salary but also the opportunity to participate in a physician partnership structure that promotes professional growth, financial benefit, and the autonomy to influence healthcare delivery in a meaningful way. If you are a driven Emergency Medicine physician seeking a practice environment that combines clinical excellence, leadership opportunity, and a community-focused approach, Vituity offers an unparalleled career advancement path with this position at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, MA.
