This position offers a 0.9 full-time equivalent (FTE) schedule operating on 12-hour shifts, three days per week, with an alternating schedule every other week. In week one, shifts fall on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday; week two shifts are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The PA will serve an average patient volume of 18 to 23 patients per day, working within an Enhanced Care Team (ECT) model that offers strong collaboration with physicians and other Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Dedicated support staff, including Medical Assistants, Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Patient Service Specialists (Front Desk), enables efficient patient care delivery. The caseload includes both new and established patients with a mix of acute, same-day visits, chronic disease management, preventive care, and wellness visits. Shared and individual in-basket management supports timely communication and follow-up.

The role embraces a broad scope of primary care practice with hands-on procedural opportunities such as Pap smears, joint injections, skin lesion removal, laceration repair, IUD and Nexplanon procedures, ingrown toenail removal, incision and drainage (I&D), and skin biopsies. Training is provided for applicable procedures, ensuring ongoing skill development.

New graduates are welcome to apply, supported by a comprehensive onboarding and mentorship program with 12 to 18 months of physician oversight. Daily clinical collaboration, case reviews, and billing/coding guidance facilitate smooth transitions into independent practice. The outpatient environment utilizes Epic electronic health records, and no hospital rounding is required, allowing the PA to focus exclusively on ambulatory care.
