The role of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Pediatrics at Sunrise Community Health plays a vital part in the organization's goal to deliver excellent healthcare to pediatric patients. This position operates under the supervision of a physician and involves the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various acute and chronic pediatric health conditions. The APP-Pediatrics is responsible for providing direct outpatient care while coordinating closely with other healthcare team members. This includes interviewing and examining patients, prescribing medication, ordering diagnostic tests, and making referrals as necessary. The provider also performs clinical procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and skin biopsies.

Special emphasis is placed on a compassionate, quality-focused, and customer-first care approach. The APP position requires strong clinical expertise combined with emotional intelligence to counsel patients and families on therapeutic regimens, growth and development, family planning, and emotional health. The provider is also expected to participate in team-based care planning, pre-visit scheduling reviews, and continuous collaboration with providers and clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes. Additionally, the APP is tasked with maintaining a safe clinical environment that adheres to infection-control protocols and complies with all relevant legal and professional standards.

Competitive compensation for this role ranges from $105,306.77 annually for candidates with less than one year of related experience, up to $128,625.41 depending on qualifications and experience. Furthermore, there is an opportunity to earn an additional $10,000 annually and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
