This specific opportunity is for Emergency Medicine Advanced Providers based in Sacramento, California. As an Advanced Provider in the emergency department, you play an essential role in delivering critical care and supporting the emergency team to optimize patient outcomes. These roles are integral to the emergency care team at respected medical centers, including Mercy General Hospital and Methodist Hospital of Sacramento. These facilities boast well-equipped emergency departments featuring 29-bed capacities, fast track beds, critical resuscitation bays, and 24-hour bedside ultrasound capabilities. The environment is fast-paced and clinically diverse, handling approximately 50,000 patient visits annually with multidisciplinary specialty backup from cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, gastroenterology, ICU, and surgical teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant healthcare field
  • Current state license or eligibility for licensure in California preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in emergency or urgent care settings
  • Valid national certification, DEA, ACLS, and BLS required
  • Demonstrated ability to perform bedside ultrasound
  • Commitment to adherence to clinical guidelines and hospital policies
