The role available is for a Physical Therapist Assistant who will play a critical part in delivering rehabilitation services to patients within their homes. This position focuses on hands-on treatment delivery, exercise instruction, and patient education to enhance the well-being and functional capabilities of patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This full-time role offers a competitive compensation package, including an annual total cash target pay ranging from $55,329 to $82,993 based on factors such as education, experience, and productivity. Hourly pay ranges from $26.60 to $39.90, with additional per-visit point pay that rewards productivity and quality of care. The position requires flexibility in work schedule, including availability for weekend rotations. In this role, the Physical Therapist Assistant will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals in delivering patient-centered care. Duties include instructing and assisting patients with exercises, muscle re-education, gait training, activities of daily living (ADL), transfers, safety procedures, and prosthetic training when applicable. The assistant observes and documents patient responses to treatments and reports changes and progress to supervising therapists, nurses, and physicians. Educating patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic practices within the scope of physical therapy assisting is a critical component of the job.
