Job Requirements

  • Graduated from an APTA accredited school of physical therapy or equivalent
  • current Physical Therapy license within the state of practice
  • BLS certification
  • ability to demonstrate clinical competency and experience
  • proficient with common computer software for patient care
  • must possess Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card if working at Banner Home Care/Hospice or Boswell Skilled Nursing Facility
  • willingness to work day shifts including weekend hours with a weekend shift differential

Job Qualifications

  • Graduated from an APTA accredited school of physical therapy or equivalent
  • possess current Physical Therapy license in the state of practice
  • BLS certification
  • ability to demonstrate clinical competency and relevant experience
  • proficient with computer software applications related to patient care
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience in supervising and training therapy personnel

Job Duties

  • Evaluate patients functional abilities and limitations
  • develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • document patient progress and treatment outcomes
  • communicate patient status with interdisciplinary team and family
  • adapt treatment based on patient response
  • supervise and delegate tasks to therapy support staff
  • participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives
