Job Description

CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP) is a global leader and innovator in the commercial and residential real estate industry, offering comprehensive information, analytics, and online marketplaces that empower professionals to discover properties, insights, and connections that enhance their businesses and lives. With more than 35 years of experience, CoStar Group has cemented its position as the benchmark for excellence and innovation in the real estate data and technology sector. The company is publicly traded and included in the prestigious S&P 500 Index, reflecting its growth, stability, and importance in the market. CoStar Group provides verified information on over 5.9 million properties globally, helping clients make decisions with confidence and maintaining a reputation for accuracy, trustworthiness, and cutting-edge technology.

The Photography Manager role at CoStar Group is a pivotal leadership position based in Houston, TX, focusing on managing a talented team of 8-10 photographers who support some of CoStar’s flagship brands including Homes.com, Apartments.com, and LoopNet. This position is responsible for overseeing team performance, operational workflows, media quality, and customer satisfaction across residential and commercial real estate listings. Unlike a traditional management role, this position combines people management skills with technical know-how and a strong commitment to quality service. The Photography Manager is expected to lead by example, coaching photographers remotely and in person, ensuring timely appointment completion, maintaining high standards, and continuously seeking ways to innovate and improve processes through emerging technologies such as AI tools.

This in-office role calls for a leader who can effectively coordinate between multiple internal departments including sales, logistics, customer support, training, and product teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients. The manager will also be the primary technical resource for resolving equipment and software issues, helping the team stay productive and focused. Strong operational oversight, quality assurance through regular audits, and the ability to analyze key performance indicators to drive improvements are critical success factors for this role. Frequent travel within the assigned region is expected, with some travel to the Richmond, VA office as necessary.

CoStar Group prides itself on fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. As part of the team, the Photography Manager will be supported with comprehensive benefits, professional development opportunities, including tuition reimbursement, and a vibrant work environment that values employee resource groups and wellness programs. This role offers a base salary of approximately $100,000 with performance-based bonus potential. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in operations management, particularly with remote and field teams, a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication skills, and a strong dedication to customer service excellence. This is a prime opportunity for a motivated leader to join a forward-thinking company at the forefront of transforming real estate through technology.
