Job Requirements
- Must reside in Newport News, VA or surrounding cities
- Ability to travel to schools within assigned hub
- May require background and health screenings per state policies
- Availability for hybrid work (remote and onsite)
- Willingness to work full time seasonally from June through November
- No prior photography experience required
- Ability to participate in paid training sessions
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license and insured vehicle access
- Strong organizational and leadership skills

- Proven leadership experience managing teams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable with technology and new software
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and travel
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable vehicle
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable access to cell phone and internet
Job Duties
- Oversee and inspire a team of photographers to capture school photos
- Conduct and lead training sessions for new photographers
- Manage photo day logistics and schedule photographers appropriately
- Oversee storage, organization, and shipment preparation of photography equipment
- Partner with HR to interview, hire, and manage photographers
- Maintain clear communication with team members and school contacts
- Attend and lead virtual team meetings
- Provide hands-on support as a photographer or event lead during peak days
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth operations during photo events
- Coordinate travel arrangements and manage photographer expenses
