Job Requirements
- Reside in New Salem, ND or surrounding areas
- Complete paid 3-day Train the Trainer session and virtual training
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable insured vehicle
- Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, and travel within assigned area
- Ability to complete additional background and health screenings if required
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Availability for occasional hands-on event support
- Commitment to professional appearance and reliable communication
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving performance under pressure
- Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, customer service, and business experience
- Exceptional communication skills to connect with and lead a team, clients, and partners
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with technology and ability to learn new programs quickly
- Physical stamina to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and maintain energy during busy photo days
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and travel as needed
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable insured vehicle
- Ability to interact with students of all ages and abilities
- Professional appearance reflecting Jostens corporate image
- Reliable communication access with dependable cell phone and internet
Job Duties
- Manage photo day logistics, ensuring the right number of photographers are scheduled for each event
- Research and determine centralized storage location for photography equipment
- Oversee equipment storage, organization, and coordination of equipment pickups with your team
- Coordinate weekly pickups with Event Leads for photography hard drives
- Collect and prepare all photography gear for shipment to MN at the end of the season
- Partner with HR to conduct interviews and hire Photographers
- Directly manage Photographers within the Hub
- Manage school assignments and Photographer scheduling for service area
- Ensure all details of each photo day event are clear to assigned photographers and school contacts
- Establish expectations with photographers to ensure adherence to JostensPIX standards and attendance
- Attend and lead weekly virtual team meetings
- Partner with Travel Coordinator for hotel reservation needs
- Oversee and approve Photographer expenses, manage overtime and travel needs
- Understand and execute JostensPIX photography in adherence to Jostens protocol
- Work some events as a Photographer or Event Lead when needed, providing hands-on support during peak days
- Attend 2-3 Photo Day events per week as additional support
- Ensure smooth operations, from setting up equipment to troubleshooting tech issues
- Ability to travel to schools within assigned Hub as needed
