Jostens also complies fully with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and provides reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals to ensure a supportive and accessible work environment.

This opportunity is for a Seasonal Photo Team Manager position based in Milwaukee, WI, or the surrounding areas. The role starts June 15, 2026, and offers a hybrid work model that combines remote and onsite work at various school locations. This full-time seasonal role is typically from June through November, with the potential to extend into December depending on event schedules. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $27.50 to $29.50 per hour, eligibility for healthcare benefits, and an average of 30+ hours per week with opportunities for overtime during peak weeks. Additionally, the company provides paid training—no prior photography experience is necessary—and a daily pay option through DailyPay to ensure financial flexibility. Voluntary benefits include discounts and access to home and car insurance, pet insurance, travel perks, and more.

As a Photo Team Manager at Jostens, you will oversee and lead a team of talented photographers tasked with capturing memorable moments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade and their families. The role demands a well-rounded leader who excels in managing logistics, training new team members, and ensuring smooth execution on photo days. You will be the primary point of contact for photographers, school representatives, and internal teams to ensure that every aspect of school photo day events runs efficiently, from scheduling and equipment coordination to troubleshooting and event leadership.

Key responsibilities include managing photo day logistics and scheduling, organizing equipment storage and transportation, conducting local pre-season training in partnership with the Training Specialist, and providing continuous on-the-job support to new hires throughout the season. You will also manage employee recruitment in collaboration with Human Resources, handle photographer assignments and schedules, set clear expectations for performance and attendance, lead weekly virtual team meetings, and coordinate travel and expenses. On occasion, you may be called upon to act as a photographer or event lead to provide direct support during busy periods.

This role requires a dynamic individual with proven leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational abilities. You should be tech-savvy to navigate various software and manage data, physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and flexible to work early mornings, evenings, and travel within your assigned zone. A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for transporting equipment are essential. Additionally, a professional appearance and reliable communication tools—such as dependable cell phone and internet access—are necessary to maintain seamless interaction with your team and clients. The role also entails working comfortably within school environments, engaging positively with students of all ages and abilities.

Jostens values a supportive culture and is dedicated to rewarding hard work with competitive compensation, comprehensive healthcare benefits (health, dental, vision), and a 401K plan with immediate vesting. Employees enjoy a respectful and inclusive work atmosphere that promotes personal and professional growth. Application for this position remains open on an ongoing basis until filled, with a final deadline of June 15, 2026, ensuring interested candidates have ample opportunity to apply and join this exceptional team.
