The company is currently hiring for the role of Seasonal Photo Team Manager, a hybrid position based in Greensboro, NC, and surrounding areas. This role starts on June 2, 2026, and combines remote work with onsite responsibilities at various school locations. The Seasonal Photo Team Manager is a pivotal leadership position responsible for managing and inspiring a team of photographers dedicated to capturing unforgettable student moments throughout the school year. This position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $24 to $26, full-time status with eligibility for healthcare benefits, and seasonal flexibility from June through November, with potential extension into December depending on event schedules. The role typically involves an average workweek of 30-plus hours, with overtime opportunities and paid training provided. Additionally, there is a convenient daily pay option through DailyPay, allowing employees to receive earnings daily.
In this role, the Photo Team Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of school photography logistics, ensuring that all events run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include managing photographer schedules, coordinating equipment storage and transportation, and maintaining clear communication between photographers and school contacts. The manager also partners closely with human resources to recruit, hire, and train photographers, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure high standards and attendance compliance. This hands-on leadership role requires involvement in event logistics, staff management, and sometimes active participation as a photographer or event lead during peak times.
The position demands strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and excellent communication to connect effectively with the team, clients, and partners. Candidates should possess a four-year degree or an equivalent blend of education and business or customer service experience, demonstrating reliability, flexibility, and a tech-savvy approach. Physical stamina is essential, as the job involves lifting equipment up to 50 pounds and maintaining energy during busy photo days. The manager must have a valid driver's license with access to a reliable, insured vehicle capable of transporting equipment. Professionalism in appearance and conduct is emphasized, along with comfort in engaging with students of all ages in school environments.
The Photo Team Manager is part of a supportive and fun company culture that values employee success and rewards hard work. Beyond competitive compensation, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage, a 401k plan with immediate vesting, and various voluntary benefits such as discounts on insurance and travel perks. Jostens is committed to diversity and inclusion under the Americans with Disabilities Act and ensures reasonable accommodation in the hiring and employment process. They embrace equal opportunity employment and encourage veterans, individuals with disabilities, and all qualified candidates to apply.
Working at Jostens means joining an established, respected industry leader dedicated to innovation, quality, and tradition. The Seasonal Photo Team Manager role offers a dynamic, rewarding career opportunity for motivated leaders passionate about photography, teamwork, and creating memorable experiences for students and their families.
