Job Requirements

  • Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric patients
  • Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least six months of phlebotomy experience
  • Keyboard and data entry experience

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
  • Minimum of six months experience in phlebotomy
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric
  • Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred
  • Keyboard and data entry skills

Job Duties

  • Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing
  • Explain procedures to patients and create a trustful atmosphere
  • Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties following established protocols
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervisor direction
  • Maintain a safe and professional work environment
  • Promote a positive image of the organization to patients and colleagues
